Stellarvue SV130ST - 5.1" f/6 APO Triplet Refractor in Stardust Blue
The Stellarvue SV130ST telescope features an outstanding 5.1" f/6 fully multi-coated triplet apochromatic lens mounted in a huge thermally stable lens cell and placed in a fully baffled, all-aluminum tube. The telescope is just over 28" long with the dew shield retracted. It comes with a 3" dual speed Feather Touch Focuser, Aluminum CNC Hinged Tube Rings, F2 Multi-Reticle Finder, 2" and 1.25" Adapters, Threaded Dust Covers and C130L Case.
By using the most advanced glass types and a fully optimized air-spaced triplet design, the Stellarvue SV130ST is simultaneously corrected for secondary color spectrum, coma, spherical and higher order aberrations. The SV130ST triplet lens uses a very high homogeneity Super ED glass, full multi-coatings on all surfaces, zonal correction to satisfy the most serious lunar, planetary and double star observer. Stellarvue telescopes are made with solid aluminum and precision machined on both manual and CNC equipment. Their heavy, thermally equalized, push pull lens cells help ensure stable alignment and excellent performance under both normal and extreme conditions. Using 1/8" thick, machined aluminum tubing and over-sized aluminum and stainless fittings, the optical path remains fixed, maintaining the integrity of our world class optics. Each tube assembly is fully baffled with knife edge light baffles for improved contrast and treated with ultra flat black interiors for maximum contrast.

- Objective: 130 mm clear aperture, 780 mm focal length, fully multicoated apo triplet objective with Ohara Fpl-53 center element and extreme broadband coatings designed for visual use as well as photographic and ccd imaging.
- Lens mount: Temperature stable, push pull lens cell with front adjustments
- Tube: Alcoa 6061-T6 aluminum tube, lathe turned for accuracy and weight reduction without flexure. Powder coated exterior with special textured, ultra flat black coating inside.
- Light baffles: Main tube has three knife edge baffles and the focuser has over 12 reflection reducing ridges to eliminate ghosting and enhance contrast without vignetting.
- Approx. Tube Diameter: 6" (152mm)
- Dew shield Dimension: 7" diameter X 12" (178mm X 305mm) length
- Retracting Dew shield: Dew shield retracts over main tube. Uses a lock screw with internal compression ring to maintain squareness when extended
- Overall Length: 21.9" (556mm) in airline travel mode*, 28" (711mm) with dew shield retracted, 36" (914mm) with dew shield extended
- Mounting Rings: Hinged, cnc-machined aluminum with rubber grip on knob, five threaded 1/4-20 holes top and bottom. Black anodized finish.

- Optical Performance: True apochromatic performance. The objective provides a wide, flat field, perfect star test and no false color. Rapid cool down time. Extremely high contrast full multi-coatings result in exceptional high contrast performance both visually and photographically.
- Mechanical Performance: 3.0" Feather Touch Focuser provides smooth, backlash free motion with adjustable tension mechanism. Will lift all eyepiece/camera systems without issue. The back unthreads so the focuser may be easily removed for airline transport. This focuser is threaded to work with the new Stellarvue dedicated, full field flatteners thread.
- Case: C130L heavy duty, thickly padded reinforced padded case.
- The focuser may be easily unthreaded from the main tube for airline travel, shortening the main tube to only 21" (533mm), less than airline travel length. This does not affect alignment thanks to precision machining and positive lock attachment.
