Worth every penny (and then some
I purchased this to replace the crummy optical finder on a Celstron CPC800. This is one of the best upgrades I have ever gotten! It is a pleasure to use. Very clear, very consitent and rugged. It's like siteing down the body of the scope, but with pin point accuracy.
I find that for quick observations the finder is accurate enough (with the small dot that I don't even have to center the objects in the main eyepiece for goto setup.
I find that I use varible brightness and markers very often changing them depending on the objects I'm looking for.
I'm not sure what could work better than this finder on a goto scope. Get one, you'll be come a believer. |
