You take pride in your telescope. Jim's Mobile (JMI) takes pride in protecting your telescope! JMI Telescope Carrying Cases include crush-resistant die-cut foam contoured to safely hold your telescope during transport. The larger cases are manufactured by Jim's Mobile with 1/4" plastic for super-strong but light-weight support. Most cases include an extra handle on one end with wheels on the opposite end for easily maneuvering the case without lifting the entire weight. These attractive and efficiently-designed cases are substantially smaller than the original shipping box and even smaller than most soft cases. They protect your investment while making it easier to move your scope from one location to another.
The JMI hard telescope case was designed for deigned to fit all Meade 10" LX200GPS or 10" LX90, classic 10" LX200 (as shown in photo), 10" LX100, LX50 and Meade 2120 / 10" LX2 through LX10 / Ultima 9-1/4". The following fork-mounted telescopes should fit inside the CASELX10 with a small amount of space between the fork arms and the foam. A small cut may be needed for the fork arms and/or control panel. Meade 2120 / 10" LX2 through LX10 / Ultima 9-1/4" The optical tube of Celestron and Meade 10" German Equatorial SCT telescopes will fit inside the CASELX10 loosely with extra padding needed to take up extra space, especially at one or both ends of the optical tube.
Includes four lockable latches, three steel-reinforced handles, 3" by 23" steel hinge and die-cut foam lining with compartments for telescope, eyepieces, finder (must be removed from the telescope and placed in a special vinyl cover included with the case) and accessories. Can be carried or pulled using attached wheels. Outside dimensions of the case are approximately 37" x 25" x 16" (subject to slight changes) and it weighs about 28 lbs.
