Stellarvue SV105 (aka SV4 telescope) - 105mm f/7 APO Triplet with 2" Feather Touch Focuser in Stardust White
The Stellarvue SV105 telescope features an outstanding 105mm f/7, air-spaced, fully multi-coated triplet apochromatic lens mounted in a huge thermally stable lens cell and placed in a hand-crafted fully baffled, all-aluminum tube. The telescope is just over 22" long with the dew shield retracted. It comes with a 2" Feather Touch Crayford Focuser, and R102 heavy duty rings or CNC clamshell ring .
By using the most advanced glass types and a fully optimized air-spaced triplet design, the Stellarvue SV105 refractor telescope is simultaneously corrected for secondary color spectrum, coma, spherical and higher order aberrations. The SV105 triplet lens uses a very high homogeneity Super ED glass, full multi-coatings on all six surfaces, zonal correction to satisfy the most serious lunar, planetary and double star observer.
Stellarvue telescopes are made with solid aluminum and precision machined on both manual and CNC equipment. Their heavy, thermally equalized, push pull lens cells help ensure stable alignment and excellent performance under both normal and extreme conditions. Using 1/8" thick, machined aluminum tubing and oversized aluminum and stainless fittings, the optical path remains fixed, maintaining the integrity of our world class optics. Each tube assembly is fully baffled and treated with ultra flat black interiors for maximum contrast.
