Meade Series 6000 ED APO Refractor Telescopes offer crisp wide-field observing and imaging... and nothing can beat a true triple-element apochromatic refractor (APO). This is especially true in astrophotography, where APOs have produced some of the most beautiful images of the heavens ever taken from Earth. The Meade Series 6000 ED APO’s are available in 80mm, 115mm and 130mm sizes.
Meade LX200-ACF Telescopes are a type of reflector that delivers a coma-free, flat field of view via hyperbolic primary and secondary mirrors. "Coma Free" telescopes (from a variety of manufacturers) are found in most of the world's top observatories and NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. The Meade LX200 is available in 8”, 10”, 12” 14” and 16” observatory class ACF versions.
