The owner, Ken Archer, operates his own robotic observatory and builds and maintains observatories for private and educational institutions. Ken has developed a few key products under the auspices of Pier Power Products, including the C-14 Flop-Stopper, a simple device for curing mirror flop when slewing the giant Celestron 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain across the heavens.
