Takahashi FC-100DC F/7.4 Fluorite Refractor OTA
Takahshi introduces an updated version of the original FC-100 designed for lightweight portability in mind. Weighing just 6.2 pounds, the Takahashi FC-100DC is a perfect travel companion. The FC-100D uses the Steinheil design with the fluorite rear element and an eco-glass front element. The focal ratio of f/7.4 can be reduced to f/4.9 with an optional reducer. The 100D model uses the same 2.2" focuser that can be found on the FC-60.

- Questions & Answers
Product QuestionsWhat tubes and connectors come for visual use? In pic I see the connector that screws onto draw tube, an extension tube, the visual connector, and then the step down to 1.25" and chrome compression ring. Do all those come with the 100DC so all I need is a 1.25" diagonal?Hello.
Is it possible to use 2" diagonals and 2" eyepieces, e.g. TV 35 Panoptic on the DC model scope? If so, what adapters are needed?
Thank you.Question by: Dan Spisak on Mar 18, 2016 9:38:00 PMTechnically, you can add the FS-60 2" adapter https://www.optcorp.com/takahashi-2-compression-ring-adapter-for-sky-90.html, but with the short back focus you may not be able to focus on every 2" eyepiece. The FC100DF would be a better option as it is already designed for 2" accessories and diagonals.Answer by: Chris Hendren (Admin) on Mar 21, 2016 2:14:00 PM
