Vixen VMC95L Modified Cassegrain Telescope Optical Tube Assembly

The Vixen VMC95L Modified Cassegrain telescope is intriguing in its own right, with interesting features, including its shape and sharp optics - its built-in focuser slides the primary mirror! With an objective diameter of 95mm (3.7") and focal length of 1045mm, this f/11 performer is sure to meet your needs. Customer Reviews 1 item(s)
- Decent, lightweight scope, good to 100x on Moon
This is a nice little scope. After cooling down for 90 minutes or so, I was able to put my 10mm Vixen NLV on it for nice views of the Moon at 105 power. I also tried my Vixen 7mm LV (150 power) but that was a bridge too far and the image broke up and was worthless. I have performed this experiment several times and always get the same result: 100 power is about the limit, at least in my skies on this target. For the price I paid (20,000 yen), I consider this perfectly reasonable.
