Jim's Mobile (JMI) - Hard Case for Celestron Nexstar 4/5/6 Telescopes
You take pride in your telescope. Jim's Mobile (JMI) takes pride in protecting your telescope! JMI Telescope Carrying Cases are crush-resistant to safely hold your telescope during transport. The larger cases are manufactured by Jim's Mobile with 1/4" plastic for super-strong but light-weight support. Most cases include an extra handle on one end with wheels on the opposite end for easily maneuvering the case without lifting the entire weight. These attractive and efficiently-designed cases are substantially smaller than the original shipping box and even smaller than most soft cases. They protect your investment while making it easier to move your scope from one location to another.
The case includes one steel-reinforced handle, two lockable latches and a 2" by 20" steel hinge. Outside dimensions of the case are approximately 22-3/4" x 16" x 11" and its empty weight is approximately 9.4 lbs. The shipping box is approximately 23-5/8" x 11-1/2" x 18-3/8" and the shipping weight is approximately 12.7 lbs. All values are subject to slight changes
Customer Note: The free shipping offer on the JMI hard case may require a drop-shipment directly from the manufacturer if they are not in stock. JMI typically has the hard cases available to ship immediately, but there may be a short delay if JMI is also temporarily out of stock. Your case will be shipped to you by JMI using their shipping account. While shipping damage is very rare, it is important that you notify OPT of any damage as soon as the package arrives and no later than 9 days. This will ensure that we have at least a day to contact JMI and the shipping company to file a damage claim within their 10 day limit, as claims that are pursued after this time are nearly always denied. Please feel free to call 1-800-483-6287 or send us an e-mail if you have any questions. Offer is valid in the US (48 contiguous states only). OPT will offer discounted rates to customer is Alaska, Hawaii and other areas. Thank you!
