When it comes to storing your astronomy equipment, keeping things dry is very important.  While your equipment might never encounter rain or other “wet” accidents, it will encounter atmospheric moisture and dew, even in your home.  Dehumidifiers and desiccant help wick away the moisture left hanging in the air so it doesn't land on your precious telescope and imaging gear.

We offer both dehumidifiers and desiccants in a variety of sizes that will accommodate all your needs.  Some units are disposable, while others are rechargeable by simply baking them in your oven.  Dehumidifiers are electronic units that attract and hold the moisture in the air, they then recharge themselves by heating and destroying that moisture internally.  Desiccant is a moisture attractant that holds onto the moisture in the air in either a small container or pouch.  Desiccant is a cheap and wise addition to all of your equipment cases and boxes.  Both come in a variety of sizes or capacities.
