Explore Scientific 8 x 50 Finder Scope
Upgrade your small 5x24 or 6x30 finderscope with this Explore Scientific 8x50 finder! You will get a bit more magnification, but more importantly, images will be brighter due to the larger optics, and brighter images means you will see more through this finder than through a smaller one. This difference is critical for objects that are right on the edge of seeing when viewed through your current finder...it can make the difference between finding that elusive galaxy or not. The Explore 8 x 50 finder has a magnification of 8X, and a 50mm objective. The barrel is white with black trim. This straight-through finder comes with a bracket, as shown in the photograph. Alignment of the finder within the rings is achieved by turning the knurled knobs to gently push the barrel in the direction you desire. The dovetail shoe on the bottom of the bracket fits into most adapters for this purpose, or you can purchase one and change that out on your scope as well.

Product QuestionsQuestion by: TLJA on Dec 5, 2014 6:35:32 PMThank you for your question. This finder displays its image upside down. If you were looking for a finder that displays a completely corrected image, either the Antares or Stellarvue right angle finders would be good alternatives.

Thank you for your question. The bracket that is supplied with this finderscope does not fit on the Vixen R200SS optical tube. What you will need to get in addition with this finderscope is the Vixen 50mm finder bracket in which they sell both low & high profile versions.Answer by: Roderick (Admin) on Oct 27, 2014 12:44:11 PM
