• Want to add an Explore Scientific Finderscope to your non-Explore telescope? This quick-release base can be attached to most telescopes and will accept any of the Explore Scientific finderscopes. It comes with knurled thumbscrews to securely lock the Explore finder scope in place. 

  If you have an Explore Scientific telescope, this finder base should have been included with the package. The finderscopes do not come standard with a base for this reason. Only those who wish to attach an Explore Scientific finder to a non-Explore telescope will need to buy this base separately, unless you need it as a replacement due to loss or damage.
