These 95mm outside diameter split tube rings are specifically designed for the Takahashi FS-102 and FSQ-106 and the 4" Unitron. They are made of die-cast aluminum, finished in gloss black paint, and lined with felt. The hinges, no-tool knobs, and hardware are made of stainless steel for long life and easy telescope installation and removal.
Parallax Instruments Standard Telescope Mounting Rings for 114mm OD Tubes
The rings are installed onto your mount or mount dovetail plate via a 1/4"-20 thread mounting hole that is drilled and tapped in the flat boss on the bottom of each ring. A similar hole is drilled and tapped on the top boss so that accessories, such as a piggyback camera mount, can be attached.
Parallax Instruments Product Number: 114MM
When you get to your shopping cart, please write what you are going to mount the rings to in the comments section. Most standard rings are in stock, however, certain mounting set-ups may require some custom drilling and thus shipping may take a little longer. Product QuestionsWhat hole pattern is on top and bottom of these rings?
They will go around a 94mm Brandon which has a tube diameter of 108mm per my calipers.Question by: Peter Bealo on Aug 16, 2016 10:11:00 AMParallax does make custom sized rings for telescopes like yours. These 114 rings will be a little too big for your 98mm Brandon. To get you a quote for some rings that will fit you scope, please give us a call at 1.800.483.6287 or email us at email@example.com.Answer by: Jonathan Cheek (Admin) on Aug 17, 2016 5:41:00 PMI have a levenhuk telescope strike 115 plus ,would these rings be ok for me. it is 114 mm by 900mm focal I will need 2 if they will fit my telescope THANK YOUQuestion by: peter christou on Aug 13, 2015 6:34:00 AMUnfortunately, these rings will not work. The primary mirror diameter is 114mm, but the tube is much larger in diameter - perhaps 125-140mm - so you would need rings sized to the exact outer diameter of the tube. If you can measure the optical tube and then contact us by phone or e-mail, we can look for appropriate rings for you.Answer by: Chris Hendren on Aug 13, 2015 11:53:00 AM
