Product Questions

The dimensions of the adapter are perfect in my opinion. The 1.25in end fits my camera's nose-piece with just the tiniest amount of play that is eliminated by tightening the included thumbscrew. The 0.965in end fits my Unitron telescope's eyepiece holder with just the slightest amount of play. Without adjustment it holds satisfactorily, but to be safe I will adjust the spring steel tensioners to enhance the fit. I highly recommend this product.
I bought a plastic version of this adapter and the thing is so poorly designed that I had to wrap multiple layers of scotch tape around the .965 end so that it won't fly out of my scope and the 1.25 end is closer to 1.35. I've ended up using my adapter solely for my cheshire because I had to wrap multiple layers of scotch tape around the cheshire to keep it in the adapter.

Is your adapter closer to designed size so that these unnecessary measures aren't necessary?
