Meade Variable Projection Camera Adapter
The Variable-Projection Camera Adapter includes a sliding mechanism, permitting variable projection distances during eyepiece projection photography, avoiding the need to switch to higher power eyepieces when additional projection enlargement is desired.
Each complete Meade Variable Projection Camera Adapter (camera not included) consists of two separable units for either prime focus or eyepiece-projection photography.
Meade Product Number: 07361 Please Note: The Meade Variable Projection Camera Adapter was created to work with Meade Series 4000 eyepieces. These eyepieces have very little extra width throughout the length of the eyepiece, and so slip easily inside the tube when doing eyepiece projection photography. If the eyepieces you plan to use with this adapter are wider at any point, or have an eyecup that is not removable, they may not fit inside. Many people end up buying a specific eyepiece just for this purpose because their visual collection consists of beefier, tricked out eyepieces. Hope this helps!

I have a Meade 12 lx-200 and use this hookup to photograph moon and Jupiter. Its nice since you can put EP in Adapter tube to increase power.

Product QuestionsHow/where do you insert the eyepiece so that it's secure and doesn't wobble about? No instructions were included. Thanks.Question by: James on Jun 10, 2017 7:10:00 PMGood afternoon and thanks for asking. Remove the chrome barrel from the eyepiece you want to use. Loosen all three screws on the adapter and make it as short as possible. Gently, drop the eyepiece into the camera end of the adapter and tighten the single screw on the scope side which holds the eyepiece in place. Attach a TRing to the adapter and then to a DSLR of your choice.Answer by: Charles Walker (Admin) on Jun 19, 2017 3:45:00 PM
