Product QuestionsQuestion by: Manny De Mello on Feb 3, 2017 12:51:00 PMUnfortunately, no. This adapter ends in an M42x0.75 thread for a standard DSLR T ring. You would need to find an aftermarket M42 to M67 threaded adapter to use your point and shoot camera with this piece to make it connect, and unfortunately we do not carry such an adapter..Answer by: Chris Hendren on Feb 6, 2017 9:48:00 AMI have Celestron's Focal Reducer on my Celestron 6SE scope. Can I use this adapter to attach my Nikon DSLR to the Celestron focal reducer?Question by: Neil L Kelley on Dec 30, 2016 12:07:00 AMYes, this T-adapter has a clear aperture of ~38mm and will not vignette on APS-C sized sensors and smaller (28-30mm diagonal) with or without an f/6.3 reducer. The telescope optics themselves will have some light fall-off at the corners - more so with the reducer in place - that is a result of the optical design and the diameter of the primary baffle tube inside the scope, but this T-adapter will not increase that darkening over using an alternate/wider adapter. Taking and applying flat frames or applying vignetting/gradient correction in processing will be needed to even out the illumination.Answer by: Chris Hendren (Admin) on Dec 30, 2016 10:03:00 AM
