Product QuestionsI have the C11 Edge and currently have my camera positioned at 151mm from the back--the optimal distance is 146mm. What is the length of this T-Adapter? I use an SBIG-STT-8300 camera/filter wheel with a back focus of 52.8mm. Would this Adapter allow me to position the camera precisely at 146mm, and what sort of adapters will I need?
ThanksQuestion by: Rodd Dryfoos on Apr 12, 2016 12:43:00 PMThe back focus of this t-adapter is 91mm. this wouldn't be suitable for your ST-8300 configuration. I would recommend giving us a call at 800 .483 .6287. We will be able to help you get the precise parts that you would need to make this system work.Answer by: Jonathan Cheek (Admin) on Apr 13, 2016 4:29:00 PMQuestion by: Jesús P. on Apr 2, 2016 6:55:00 AMThe Celestron and Meade "3.25" threads are different by 4-5 hundredths of an inch (Celestron's being closer to 3.3"). Depending upon the machining tolerances on both sides, it is possible for Celestron-spec accessories to fit the male Meade thread, but there is no guarantee of a good fit.Answer by: Eric Blackhurst (Admin) on Apr 5, 2016 12:40:00 PM
