Jim's Mobile (JMI) - Hard Two-PieceTelescope Case for Celestron CPC 1100 GPS, CPC 925 GPS, NexStar 11 GPS, NexStar 9¼ GPS
You take pride in your telescope. Jim's Mobile (JMI) takes pride in protecting your telescope! JMI Telescope Carrying Cases include crush-resistant die-cut foam contoured to safely hold your telescope during transport. The larger cases are manufactured by Jim's Mobile with 1/4" plastic for super-strong but light-weight support. Most cases include an extra handle on one end with wheels on the opposite end for easily maneuvering the case without lifting the entire weight. These attractive and efficiently-designed cases are substantially smaller than the original shipping box and even smaller than most soft cases. They protect your investment while making it easier to move your scope from one location to another.
The JMI hard telescope case includes four lockable latches for the removable cover (no hinge), three steel-reinforced handles and die-cut foam lining with compartments for telescope, eyepieces and accessories. It can be carried (requires two people) or pulled using the attached 10" wheels. Both the finder scope and hand unit must be detached and inserted into protective pouches (included) and placed inside the case. Outside dimensions of the case are approximately 42" x 25" x 26-3/4" and its empty weight is approximately 36.0 lbs. The shipping box is approximately 26-1/4" x 19" x 38-1/2" (UPS Ground Oversized 2 rate is at 70 lbs) and the shipping weight is approximately 43.2 lbs. All values are subject to slight changes.
Customer Note: The free shipping offer on the JMI hard case may require a drop-shipment directly from the manufacturer if they are not in stock. JMI typically has the hard cases available to ship immediately, but there may be a short delay if JMI is also temporarily out of stock. Your case will be shipped to you by JMI using their shipping account. While shipping damage is very rare, it is important that you notify OPT of any damage as soon as the package arrives and no later than 9 days. This will ensure that we have at least a day to contact JMI and the shipping company to file a damage claim within their 10 day limit, as claims that are pursued after this time are nearly always denied. Please feel free to call 1-800-483-6287 or send us an e-mail if you have any questions. Offer is valid in the US (48 contiguous states only). OPT will offer discounted rates to customer is Alaska, Hawaii and other areas. Thank you!
