Good power supply
I bought this to use in my observatory when I found my main 12v transformer sending power to the pier was actually outputting 13.45v. This was only .4v under what the maximum allowable voltage for the Atik One. I decided to play it safe and order a dedicated power supply just for the camera. Testing showed it pretty much right on 12v, maybe 12.1v. I don't consider it a high end unit, that's why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars, but it's certainly capable. I tested it inside the house, moving filter wheels and taking about 12 hours of dark and bias exposures. No problems, I plan to put it in the observatory tomorrow.

Product Questions

I purchased this Atik Universal AC Power Supply Item # A3-90-240VAC for my Atik 414ex . This says its rated at 90-240vac but the one I received says 100-240vac @2.5amp . The voltage is not what I'm concerned about but amperage . In the manual , which is a boilerplate manual cover most all their cameras , warns of the amp rating on the camera (which is an Atik One) is 2amps , and this power supply is 2.5 amp...will this be a problem
