Lumicon Deep Sky Filter - 2"

This Lumicon light pollution filter blocks all high and low pressure mercury and sodium vapor lamp light, neon lights and airglow, while transmitting the rest of the visible spectrum. Excellent for both visual and photographic applications. Visually, the Lumicon Deep Sky Filter is most useful under light-polluted skies, from where it reveals faint objects like star clusters, galaxies, nebulae and comets by darkening the background of space. Photographically, the Lumicon Deep Sky Filter enables deep space photos to be taken through city lights and blocks natural airglow at dark-sky sites, thus improving results in film and CCD astrophotography.

Lumicon Deep Sky Filters

Product Questions

I use both 1.25" and 2" eyepieces (televue and Meade). How does this filter attach? To the eyepiece? Is there a filter that attaches to the incoming end of the star diagonal?

Thanks
