Product QuestionsQuestion by: Mark Johnston on Feb 8, 2016 9:44:00 PMIt would be possible, but probably not necessary unless the opposite side was at or near 30 lbs. You would need to get an LO-VUPS (https://www.optcorp.com/lo-vups-v-series-short-universal-dovetail-plate-7inch.html), a long 3/8"-16 screw or threaded rod (likely purchased from a local hardware store) which threads into the largest threaded hole on the VUPS, and then one or more of these, as needed (https://www.optcorp.com/losmandy-extra-5-lb-weight-for-dws-or-ws-systems.html). The counterweight may not be able to be mounted exactly at the balance point (especially if the screw head hits the saddle) but you should be able to slide the other scope forward or back to compensate.Answer by: Chris Hendren (Admin) on Feb 9, 2016 5:40:00 PM
