About the iOptron Tri Pier
iOptron combines the stability and unobtrusive design of a pier with the ease of use and portability that a tripod offers. The iOptron Tri Pier with it's ultra heavy-duty construction has a maximum load capacity of 220 lbs. Aluminum and steel construction offers the best combination of strength and reduced weight. The TriPier weighs an easy to carry 25.6 lbs with a folded dimension of 12.8 inches around and 25.6 inches long. Folding and adjustable legs offer a comfortable height range between 31.3 - 43 inches with a maximum spread of 46.5 inches, diameter. Tilting feet offer a sure footing on uneven terrain, capable of remaining level and stable on a grade range of up to 3.35". The iOptron Tri-Pier is compatible with CEM60, iEQ45 Pro, iEQ30 Pro, MiniTower Pro, MiniTower Pro II and CEM120 mounts.

Product QuestionsHi, i have the cem60 mount and currently use the tripod legs that came with it. I would like to know how much more stable would it be using the tri pier. Currently i experience a good deal of shake with light winds and am trying to find a way to stabilize my setup better.Question by: Eric E on Mar 24, 2016 12:07:00 PMThe TriPier will give you a huge upgrade in stability. The part# IO-8034-RC comes with a rolling case but costs $150 more ($748 vs. $598). We can get the version with the case, but it is not yet on the web.
