Product QuestionsQuestion by: mike on Mar 21, 2015 9:36:00 AMThis depends on the type of camera and lens chosen. With a normal DSLR, you would normally just need a Vixen style dovetail with 1x 1/4"-20 screw coming up through the dovetail into the bottom tripod mount of the camera. For large lenses and/or cameras, you may need heavier duty camera mount hardware or a larger mae to male (VMM) dovetail.Answer by: Chris Hendren (Admin) on Mar 26, 2015 4:05:00 PMQuestion by: roger136913 on Jan 20, 2015 3:34:08 AMThe polar scope is an optional accessory. iOptron makes the IO-3130 http://www.optcorp.com/ioptron-smart-eq-polarscope-black-3130.html which will fit the SmartEQ mount.Answer by: Chris (Admin) on Jan 20, 2015 9:28:58 AMQuestion by: Mike Spence on Mar 16, 2015 4:28:00 PMThe Orion 127 Mak will be a little to heavy for the Smart EQ.
