  The Lithium PowerTank has an un-recharged shelf life of 10 years, which is almost three times the 3 years boasted by a standard Lithium-Ion battery and is a full ten times as long as a Sealed Lead-Acid battery. And it'll last almost as long even if you are recharging frequently; it's able to be fully charged and discharged two thousand times before issues occur, compared to the Lithium Ion's five hundred, and Sealed Lead-Acid's mere 300. You won't find a longer-lasting, more dependable battery for your USB powered devices to run on!   

  This battery is safe to use! It can handle higher temperatures than a comparable Lithium-Ion design, and unlike its competitors is not a fire hazard if pierced! This makes it safer to take this battery with you out into the world, like on a hike.
