It is included as a standard accessory on some of these telescopes, so check the specifications before you add on to your order. These adapters allow you to link your Celestron telescope drive directly to the cigarette lighter receptacle of your car, for a quick and easy DC power source in one step. 

  You can also use the 12V DC Car Battery Adapter with a portable DC Power Supply, like the Celestron PowerTank. If you want to run your telescope from an AC outlet, you can use this DC power cord in conjunction with other compatible DC to AC power supplies.
