Vixen 30 X 80 BCF Giant ARK Waterproof Binoculars
The Vixen 30 X 80 BCF Giant ARK Binoculars are the most powerful in the Vixen Giant binocular series. This series is characterized by a design that incorporates new techniques in waterproofing, coatings and optics. At an amazing 30 times magnification power, these Vixen binoculars are also very bright, with objective lens diameter of 80mm. These Vixen binoculars can be used for daytime or night time viewing, and (because of their weight) require a tripod or monopod for a shake-free image. They are great long distance nature binoculars, as well as astronomy binoculars, especially for bright objects like the Moon.
These Vixen 30 X 80 Giant binoculars are also waterproof and nitrogen-purged, which will make you happy when it is dewy or misty outside. Nitrogen-purging prevents binoculars from fogging up internally when it is especially humid outside, and external moisture can be easily wiped off with a cloth. The optics on the Vixen Giant binoculars are multi-coated and the prisms are made from BaK4 glass. This combination allows for the greatest transfer of light through the optics. Accessorized with a carry case, caps, and a tripod socket, these Vixen 30 X 80 Giant binoculars are a great choice!

Product QuestionsQuestion by: Panos on Jan 25, 2016 9:03:00 PMWith the narrow angle of 30 power binoculars, the optical design of the Ark 30x80 binos would not have much if any astigmatism, but there is no way to correct for astigmatism in your eyes without wearing proper prescription glasses when observing.Answer by: Chris Hendren on Jan 26, 2016 5:27:00 PM
