Superb optical quality is one of the features of this finderscope with a wide 6.2-degree field of view. Thanks to 50 mm aperture, you'll be gathering 11th magnitude alignment stars with ease. That's two full magnitudes deeper than most star charts!
  
  The overall usable eye relief of the Takahashi 7X50 finderscope is 12 mm. For most observers, this won't present a problem, but eyeglass wears might see a slight amount of vignetting of the field. For viewer comfort, the eyepiece screws in and out of the body to focus and locks into place with a knurled ring. Look inside! The Takahashi 7X50 finder has an etched reticle with extremely thin crosshairs that do not obscure alignment stars!
