Arkansas Sky Observatory
Celebrating its 34th year in serving astronomers and the astronomical community, the Arkansas Sky Observatory has a rich heritage in astronomical outreach, education and research. Many of its students and observing assistants are now teaching others the wonders of the heavens, or in many cases heading up some of the most ambitious research projects within the realm of this far-reaching science.
Riverside Astronomical Society
The RAS is based in Riverside, California, with monthly meetings held at La Sierra University and star parties at their own site in Landers.
Astronomical Society of the Pacific
The Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP) is an international non-profit scientific and educational organization that was founded in 1889 and works to increase the understanding and appreciation of astronomy.
San Diego Astronomy Association (SDAA)
Biggest astronomy club in San Diego. SDAA holds meetings, star parties, and outreach programs, and has an observing site in the East County of San Diego.
Los Angeles Astronomical Society
The LAAS hosts monthly public star parties in Griffith Park. Members enjoy additional monthly star parties at a dark-sky site. LAAS has a great outreach program and holds classes on telescope building and mirror making.

Oceanside Photo & Telescope Astronomical Society (OPTAS)
Oceanside Photo & Telescope Astronomical Society (OPTAS) - North San Diego County astronomy club run by OPT since 1980. Members enjoy monthly star parties in the Anza-Borrego Desert, tours of local observatories, and more.
The Astronomy Centre UK
The Astronomy Centre in the North of England is an expanding amateur group with a remarkable range of optical equipment, including a 12" reflecting binocular telescope. They are currently beginning work on a 42" professional grade telescope, entirely financed by the members themselves.
Orange County Astronomers
Astronomy club based in Orange County, California. They have monthly general meetings open to the public at Chapman University, a monthly star party near Silverado Canyon, and a monthly star party at their site near the town of Anza.
The L5 Development Group
The L5 Development Group is a privately funded, for profit, space exploration and development program whose initial business plan is to build space colonies at L5 and manufacture solar power satellites to meet the Earth's energy needs.
