You'll need a PC or laptop computer, a CCD camera suitable for autoguiding (such as the Orion SSDSCI II), autoguiding software, and a goto mount eqipped with autoguider port.
Using the provided 10' RJ-12 cable, the Orion Shoestring USB Guide Port Interface connects to the autoguider port of your mount, enabling the autoguiding camera to "talk" to the mount through the computer and through the GPUSB.
This adapter requires no external power source, since it receives its power via USB from your computer.
With the Orion Shoestring USB Guide Port Interface, an Orion StarShoot II Imaging Camera will function as a high-performance autoguider!
