The SBIG Test Lens allows users of ST-series CCD Cameras to become familiar with the operation of their camera indoors, without the use of a telescope.
The Test Lens is a 25mm f/16 double convex plastic lens that has T-threads, allowing it to be screwed into the front of the camera after the nosepiece has been removed.
Testing is best done indoors in artificial light only, as daylight will saturate the CCD.

The SBIG Autofocuser for ST-Series Cameras (and maybe the 402!) will be similar in size to the CFW8, and will not require external power or a communication cable, since it is a 12C Accessory.
The SBIG Autofocuser is currently on hold at SBIG. The expected release date is therefore unknown at this time. The price has not been announced yet, but is expected to be under $600 when it is released.
