The Celestron UHC/LPR (Ultra High Contrast, Light Pollution Reduction) filter blocks unwanted light pollution and is an ideal all-around filter for deep-sky observing.
The high transmission, sharp cutoffs, and more moderate 60nm passband of the Celestron UHC/LPR filter retains a more natural view, yet significantly boosts overall contrast. Imagers will appreciate the broader bandpass and inclusion of an extremely efficient H-Alpha passband (656nm).
Works well with telescopes of 4" apertures and up.
2" filter size for 2" eyepieces and accessories.
