Meade Ultrawides - great for the money
For the price, this is an amazing set of eyepieces ... they aren't Naglers but they are close ... heavy duty, rugged, and great views. The 6.7 is Nagler quality ...perfect views to the edge ....compared to the Nagler 7mm ...no difference other than the view is magnified a bit more ... The 30 is great for wide views...just heavy ...make sure your OTA is balanced. The 18 is good for finding globs, etc to be magnified up ... The case is awesome! Considering a Tele Vue soft case is 120-40 bucks by itself ... heck one can by a 4.7 or 8.8 UWA eyepiece for that to add to this collection. In sum, I recommend this to those who want high quality views but also don't want to fork out 300-600 an eyepiece ... |
