Are you an educator or a student currently enrolled in an Astronomy or Physics class at the college or high school level? If so, we have an exciting discount plan for you!
OPT and participating manufacturers are joining together to offer students and teachers educational pricing on select products, including telescopes, eyepieces, CCD imaging equipment, and more. Meade Instruments is the first major manufacturer to participate in this program, but all manufacturers are welcome to join, and we expect our list of products in this plan to grow rapidly.
All you have to do to qualify for the Educational Pricing Plan is either teach an astronomy or physics course, or be currently enrolled as a student in one of those classes.
It is easy to get started, simply register as a customer of OPT and answer some easy questions regarding your school and classes (current OPT customers can upgrade their existing account). Signing up to participate in our Educational Pricing Plan is absolutely free.
Once enrolled, you will be able to view educational pricing on all participating products, as well as thousands of other great deals at OPT. When it comes time to buy, you may be asked to fax or upload proof of your school or class registration, but that's all there is to it.
