Product Details

  • The Celestron Omni Plossl Eyepiece series is sure to be a new favorite of yours if it's not already. With a comfortable 52-degree field of view, you'll find that it's easy enough to find what you're looking for in the skies above and swap between pieces without issue. Offering a generous 22 mm of eye relief, this 32 mm eyepiece will never be tiresome or irritating to look through even after long observation sessions.

    The Ideal Multi-Purpose Eyepiece

The low magnification factor makes it perfect for wide-field sweeping, extended deep-sky objects and whole disk solar/lunar observations. Sure, there are high dollar eyepieces that might out-perform it, but like a favorite lure in the fisherman's tackle box, you'll find yourself reaching for the Celestron 32mm Omni over and over again!

The 32mm low power Omni eyepiece is a 4-element premium symmetrical Plossl optical design. Features include blackened lens edges to minimize internal reflection and maximize contrast, multi-layer coating group on each lens surface to maximize light transmission and contrast, and each Omni goes through a two-step anodizing process to prevent reflection from the top eyepiece barrel, unlike most other manufacturers who use reflective surfaces. Rubberized grip ring means secure handling.
