Attractive and efficiently-designed cases are substantially smaller than the original shipping box. JMI Hard Telescope Cases are manufactured with 1/4" plastic for super-strong but light-weight support. This case is for the Optical Tube Assembly (OTA) ONLY. The case includes two lockable latches, three steel-reinforced handles, a 3" by 30" steel hinge and die-cut foam lining for the telescope optical tube. It can be carried by two people using the two handles on either end or pulled using the attached wheels. The foam is configured at the factory for the 9¼" optical tube. You simply pull out precut sections to increase the cavity size to match the 11" or 14" optical tube.
