This Celestron Car Battery Adapter will work with all Celestron CPC, NexStar, Advanced Series, CGE, CGEM telescopes, as well as the older Celestron Ultima 2000 and most computerized telescopes.
The Celestron Car Battery Adapter comes standard with many Celestron telescopes, and is neccessary if you want to run your telescope off of a DC power source, whether that power source is your car battery or a portable power supply.
You may also use this car battery adapter with a Vector 6AMP AC/DC Converter. These two items allow you to run your telescope from a 110V AC outlet (typical US household power outlet).
